James Batchelor teaches in Budapest
Australian but Berlin based James Batchelor gives a workshop for choreographers and dancers at Trafó House in Budapest. This workshop offers an introduction to James Batchelor’s teaching and choreographic practice, followed by an opportunity for developing knowledge about contemporary dance networks in Europe. Participation of the workshop is for free, registration is necessary!
James Batchelor & Bek Berger in Budapest
James Batchelor and Bek Berger go to Workshop Foundation Budapest for an Artistic Exchange Residency. The two originally Australian, Berlin based and internationally working artists have been working together extensively (and successfully!) since 2017.

Berlin based anthropologist, dancer and dramaturgist Anna Chwialkowska, dancer and social researcher Maria Elena Seidenari and video artist Joost Koster are currently at ICI–CCN in Montpellier, where they look at current near-future scenarios of how to deal with the ecological crisis.

Sonja Pregrad is coming to Vienna for a Creative Crossroads residency. During her stay she will teach at ImPulsTanz a workshop Of drag, plants and other objects (of dance).
Open Call – Uferstudios Berlin is looking for a production manager
In the frame of our programme On The Outset, Uferstudios Berlin are offering a paid internship position between October 2024 – January 2025 for artists and/or emerging production managers in the field of dance and performance. Included in the internship is a one-week exchange with our Swedish Life Long Burning Partner MDT Moderna Dansteatern in Stockholm.

Uferstudios Berlin und Workshop Foundation Budapest are offering two differently designed exchange residencies for professional movement and dance artists who work in Hungary or who are based in Berlin! Application deadline is 14 April.
Network Meeting at Festival Programme Commun
This weekend Festival Programme Commun is kicking off in Lausanne! Apart from a vivid performance programme Arsenic invited to a Life Long Burning meeting, which includes a three days watch-and-talk programme for our Creative Crossroads artists, led by Ysaline Rochat.
Artists Lab at Uferstudios Berlin
End of January Uferstudios Berlin, together with the network project Making a Difference, is organising the artists lab Wie wir tanzen – Wie wir arbeiten! (How we dance – how we work!). The invited artists are Anajara Amarante, Angela Alves, Camilla Pölzer, Carolin Hartmann, Irene Giro Paradell, Jan Kress, Kate Brehme, Rita Mazza and Roisin Keßler. Noa Winter is moderating.
Tour Through Tanztage in Berlin
Pauline Lavogez (ICI–CCN Montpellier) and Denisa Rad (4Culture) as well as the Berlin based artists Yvonne Sembene, Hanna Schillinger and Adèle Aïssi-Guyonare are invited to Tour through Tanztage! This peer to peer workshop is a guided & shared do-it-yourself exercise in watching and talking about the work seen in Tanztage, one's own artistic interests, professional practice and experienced difficulties in creating dance works. Tour Through Tanztage is moderated by Inge Koks.
Open House with Lin Da in Helsinki
Finnish artist, choreographer and performer Lin Da was on an Artistic Exchange Residency at Uferstudios Berlin this summer. On 20 December they share their experience, research and insights regarding the residency, in the frame of an Open House shaped as a Soup Talk. Like the other Soup Talks of Moving in November Festival it will start midday, Laura Pietiläinen will be the host.
Dominique Tegho at Moving in November
Dominique Tegho is selected by Moving in November Festival for an Artistic Exchange Research Residency. She works in the studio of choreographer Liisa Pentti + Co and experiences the whole festival in Helsinki.
