Performance Situation Room

Ariadna Rodriguez and Iñaki Alvarez from nyamnyam initiated the Cinématique project, a research and artistic creation initiative. During two periods in January and March 2025 they are in residence at ICI–CCN in the frame of our programme Performance Situation Room and in collaboration with ICI—CCN and the master exerce inside the program MIRANDA 2024 "Support for Research and Creation 2024” - Université Paul Valery Montpellier.

“Cinématique is a research project that is evolving into a performative installation that focuses on the genealogy of movement(s) from perspectives that incorporate the temporal, choreographic, spatial, relational, social, filmic and supernatural. Cinématique is also “a remarkable synthesis of the movements of work and everyday life”, a theory developed by Raymond Duncan, brother of the dancer Isadora Duncan at the beginning of the 20th century.”
