danceWEB is looking for a dance critic/producer/independent dance curator/artist interested in getting to know the contemporary dance scene in Croatia. This internship is especially interesting for persons with an interest in inclusive art production and in video documentation.

The Divert / Antisezona team in Zagreb is offering an internship during Choreographic Convention 2024 Bodies in Free Fall and its direct preparation phase. The Choreographic Convention is an event for contemporary dance performances, discussions and labs realized within the Life Long Burning Programme. You find here the preliminary schedule.

The intern will work with the team of Divert and Antisezona on finalizing the organization of Choreographic Convention, coordinating activities, on hospitality issues (help coordination of arrivals - departures, directions), will be present on artistic and discursive events and meetings (help coordination with artists, speakers, media, tech crew, venues), meet artists, local scene and Antisezona team. The intern can be involved in the filming of the event by supporting the film maker.

When: 14–24 November 2024

Where: Zagreb, in the frame of the event Choreographic Convention 2024 Bodies in Free Fall

The offer includes:
° travel
° accommodation
° free entrance to all events
° per diems (30€ per day)
° fee: on the basis of a monthly salary of 1500€ (500€ for 10 days)

Only dance critics/producers/independent dance curators/artists coming from and/or residing in Austria are eligible to apply.
