ICI—CCN is looking for its next Creative Crossroads Artist

ICI—CCN de Montpellier / Occitanie is issuing a call for projects open to artists/choreographers/researchers based or developing their work in the Occitanie region.

Applications are open until 15 September 2024 (included)!

 

What support will be provided?
° Participation in the network's annual meeting on 22 and 23 November 2024 (all expenses covered for one person).
° Financial support from ICI—CCN in the amount of 8,000€ in the form of a coproduction and one or more periods of residency at ICI—CCN in 2025 or 2026.
° Possibility of residencies and/or work/research time with partners in the Life Long Burning network (whatever the phase of the project, not necessarily production time).
° Networking opportunities across Europe with project partners, international artists/researchers and artistic communities involved in the Life Long Burning
project;
° If necessary, support for structuring and development through regular meetings with the European project manager and/or contacts with experts.
 

Who can submit a project?
° An artist/choreographer/researcher or artist/researcher duo with a creative or research project.
° The artist or duo must be based in and/or developing their work in Occitanie (France).
° An artist or artist-researcher duo for whom the two-year support could provide short and long-term assistance in structuring their work.
° A good level of written and spoken English is required.
 

How to submit a project?
> On 15 September 2024 (included) to Anne Bautz
° A description of your project.
° A biography / portfolio / links to your previous work.
° General presentation of your work and structure.
° A description of your needs and plans for the next two years.
° Optional: What would you like to highlight about your work / research / educational activity / cultural project / venue project / type of collaboration.
° The format is free.

> 2 projects will be selected before the end of September and then proposed to network members. Only 1 project will be supported.
> The programme will begin with the network meeting on 22 and 23 November 2024 in Zagreb, which will allow the selected artists and network members to meet and discuss the artists‘ and the members’ projects.
> The selected artist/researcher must be present at this meeting.
