danceWEB is looking for a dance/performance artist/dance writer/dance teacher to join PRÉAC 2024.

From 27–31 May this year's PRÉAC seminar is taking place at La Genette Verte, near Montpellier in the South of France. 

The seminar of PRÉAC (Pôle de Ressources pour l'Éducation Artistique et Culturelle), organized and hosted by ICI–CCN Montpellier, is on Narratives: can we make fiction without making stories? The place of narrative in choreography: the relationship between abstraction and narration, and fictional modalities in choreographic composition, in particular. It is led by the guest artist Sylvain Prunenec (founder of Association du 48). Additionally ICI–CCN de Montpellier is offering 2 to 4 days of research period before or after the session (between 24 May and 04 June) at their center (to be discussed with selected participant).

When 27–31 May 2024 (plus 2–4 days of research residency at ICI-CCN (small studio with no technic).

Who can apply
Only dance/performance artists/dance writers/dance teachers coming from and/or residing in Austria are eligible to apply.

The program is ideal for artists, dance writers and dance teachers interested in research.
French language skills are of advantage.
