Lara Cortellini
Lara Cortellini is a freelance journalist living in Vienna since 2018. She grew up in Germany and moved to Austria for a Bachelor in theatre, film and media studies. She is one of the editors for the young culture magazine Bohema. She is especially interested in dance, performance and theatre outside of well established institutions and networks.
Bulgarian Dance Platform 2024
daneWEB selected Lara Cortellini as one of the guests of the 4th edition of the Bulgarian Dance Platform (see the Open Call from February).
In the frame of Capacity Grid, danceWEB was looking for a young dance critics/researchers/independent dance curators/artists interested in getting to know the contemporary dance scene in Bulgaria. The Bulgarian Dance Platform is taking place from 16–20 May in Sofia, hosting performances, discussions and artist gatherings. It presents a collection of choreographic work performed by selected independent dance artists, who explore the boundaries of choreography and movement and aim at challenging aesthetics and forms.
